New Version of the UA Software Request Process: Launching July 22!

We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of Version 3 of the application. Starting July 22nd, you’ll notice several improvements which were inspired by your continued feedback. Here are a few of the changes we’ve made to improve your experience with this process:
- Are you a Contract Administrator? You will receive your signed acknowledgement as a downloadable PDF file.
- If your only role is to create the review request for others, you will now receive status updates.
- We have heard your feedback on the length of this process - in order to expedite it, we have removed the Comparable Software Review step. Looking for comparable software? Check the !
- We have improved internal mechanisms to aid our software review team in timely reviewing.
- The Department Approver field is now optional by default; if you’d like it to be required, simply fill in the field when the ticket is created!
We hope you will find this release easier and more convenient to use, and we continue to welcome your feedback either directly or through our surveys. Our Listening Sessions, designed to be a time for your questions and ideas, are scheduled on a biweekly basis through December 2024.
