19 alaska.edu emails found in Appen breach
In June 2020, the AI training data company exposing the details of almost 5.9 million users which were subsequently sold online. Included in the breach were names, email addresses and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. Some records also contained phone numbers, employers and IP addresses.
Among those email address were 19 University of èßäÊÓƵ emails. Visit to see if your email has been involved in this (or any other) breach.
You can minimize the risk to your accounts by avoiding using the same login and password combination for multiple sites. Using long and unique passwords for each account helps protect you and the èßäÊÓƵ in the case of a breach.
